Next Stitch Knitter: Stitches and shaping

Learn how to read a pattern and knit simple titch patterns. Use various ways to increase and decrease and go home with a corsage or two!

Knitting is a great way to relax and be creative! Join us and improve your knitting in a friendly environment. With this seies of workshops, you will be shown all the basics to get you started and practise new techniques through making mini-projects such as baby bears, cosies and accessories. Go home with a complete project in 2 hours!

This class is limited to a maximum of 10 participants and the session will be tailored to your needs and abilities.

Kate learnt to knit when she was 6. She has been designing knitting patterns for books and magazines for several years and has taught knitting courses at Chelsea College of Art & Design.

All questions answered! You can even have a go at designing your own stitch patterns...
