Join me for January's Make & Do Craft Mashup!
Come along and try your hand at various crafts including knitting, crochet, papercraft (quilling), and Indian Embroidery with our special guest Prabha*. This is your chance to meet other members of the club, try something new and show off your craft projects.
*Prabha runs one day workshops exploring Indian textiles using embroidery techniques such as Sheesha (mirror work), Kantha and Phulkari. She will be showing us a few of these facinating techniques.
Set up:
- 7pm Introductions
- 7.15 Taster sessions (knitting, crochet, papercraft/quilling and Indian embroidery)
- 8.15 Break
- 8.30 Show and tell (show off your latest craft project, favourite craft book or knitting mag and share a few New Year craft goals!)
- 9pm Session ends
Don't forget to bring your craft books/magazines, knitting and craft projects to show.
